My name is Joshua Njenga. I am a trainer and a storyteller. I train for a living, but storytelling is a hobby.

Most of my training focuses on building my clients' businesses through transformational training. It aims at helping individuals and organisations achieve more of what they want and less of what they don't want.

I design learning engagements that develop human potential and motivate individuals and organisations to excel - by streamlining processes, enhancing individual productivity, improving quality of teamwork, and developing team leadership.

My core expertise is using interactive training techniques to deliver corporate learning in a comfortable, relaxed, and light-hearted manner.

My style is a little bit of science, a little bit of art, a little bit of psychology, and lots of common sense.

I use this expertise to develop skills, shape attitudes, improve leadership, strengthen relationships, enhance communication, entrench change and streamline processes.

In the last 25 years, I have helped transform the overall workplace experience in hundreds of organisations Eastern, Central, and Southern Africa.

My corporate training and development solutions include public and in-house seminars designed to help individuals and organisations achieve greater success.

Stories

I have written hundreds of stories on a variety of subjects, and I share some of them on this forum.

My objective is to convert complex ideas into knowledge that anyone can relate to.

Some of them are based on my engagement with my students during training, but others are summaries of my inquiry into subjects in which I have intellectual interest. They include politics, history, philosophy, religion, psychology, astronomy, and technology.

3. Strategic Meetings Facilitation

   Strategic planning meetings help teams to agree on what the future should look like and which strategies should be adopted to realize goals.

   Using external facilitators gives such meetings credibility, validity and objectivity.

   If you invite me to facilitate your next meeting, I'll make it focused and productive by creating a setting where team members feel free to speak, ensuring that meeting stays focused on the agreed goals, keeping discussions on track and on time, building consensus on all decisions, acting as a neutral mediator if team members disagree, and encouraging participation from everyone.
